After reading the article several times, Cindy Thompson is obviously a very biased and single minded person, on the basis that she is in the minority of people owning one of these awful looking machines on wheels, as opposed to the majority who are not owners.
The laws of this country prohibit the parking of these so called “homes” in any area apart from the official sites – no argument – end of subject.
The only reason we see the “homes” parked all over the Algarve is because the GNR are either powerless or cannot be bothered to move them on – I feel that they should be moved to official sites.
Cindy, while budget pleading is short sighted to the law, if you cannot afford to pay the fees for parking officially and to live while in the country, then don’t bother to come.
We all live on a budget day to day, but live legally.
