‘Queen of Simple’ Jane Cumberbatch will be giving two talks in the Algarve next month. The first is on April 4 in the municipal library of Tavira, followed by another on April 5 in the municipal library of Lagoa, both starting at 6pm.
Jane Cumberbatch is internationally known for her “Pure Style” philosophy which promotes a simple, practical, inexpensive and timeless way of living and decorating.
A designer, stylist and author, Jane has written the best-selling “Pure Style” titles (including “Pure Style”, “Pure Style Living”, “Pure Style Recipes for Everyday”), which have sold over 500,000 copies worldwide.
Her uniquely stylish and influential look has also been used to promote many home furnishing brands including Habitat, Marks and Spencer and Laura Ashley. A former decorating editor of House & Garden magazine Jane has also worked as a journalist and style director on leading publications such as Elle Decoration.
As well as outlining her path from design assistant to style guru, Jane will be sharing secrets and tips from her latest style bible “Pure Colour” (Quadrille). In the style of a personal notebook, Jane will take you on a journey through five colour palettes and a veritable paintbox of ideas and colour updates for your life and home. Jane divides her time between London and her simple Pure Style house in Olhão.
