Vale do Lobo is hosting the first edition of Portugal 360° Market Storm Seminars 2010 today (Friday).
The event, which has been organised by Portuguese bank BES, aims to inform those attending about real estate and tourism in the Algarve through a series of panels.
The importance of the quality of life in the Algarve in relation to the housing market and tourism will be explored in the first panel as industry experts also look at how the current market is affecting the buying and selling of property in the region.
Meanwhile, the second panel will examine competition in the region, the subject of personal responsibility and the relevance of new market potentials in the region as a destination for second home investment.
Among the guest speakers and panel members attending the event will be Miguel Ferreiro, the general manager of Garvetur real estate, Len Silverline, CEO of American company The Big Idea, Charles Weston-Baker, the head of International Residential Savils Limited and consultant Gerard Larkin from the overseas property show, A Place in the Sun.
