Lawyer Eduardo Serra Jorge will be addressing legal issues affecting foreign residents in Portugal in his new monthly column, Legal Matters, in the Algarve Resident.
A lawyer since 1986, Eduardo Serra Jorge has offices in both Lisbon and Faro and is a member and director of several chambers of commerce and industry while his position as a member of the management council of afpop, Portugal’s largest association of foreign property owners, has given him a wealth of legal experience in relation to issues affecting foreign residents.
In his work, Eduardo Serra Jorge advises businesses and individuals on a hugely varied spectrum of legal issues including civil law cases, corporate law, labour law, commercial law, administrative law and fiscal law.
He also regularly organises and participates in several seminars and workshops and contributes to economy magazines in relation to corporate and labour law issues.
His current legal activities are aimed mainly at individuals and business, and cover all aspects of the economy, and he is supported by colleagues and professionals in several areas with links to law offices in various countries.
