A PORTUGUESE man died in Odelouca, Silves, after being struck by lightning during last Monday’s storm.
Dário Nunes, aged 27, from Montes de Cima, Portimão, was taken to The Institute of Legal Medicine at Barlavento hospital, where an autopsy was conducted.
It was reported that Nunes died instantly but it remains unclear why he had been in Odelouca alone. His funeral took place last Wednesday afternoon in Mexilhoeira Grande.
