Luxury car sales increase

More Porsche and Jaguar cars were sold in Portugal in the first half of 2010 compared with the same period last year.

According to data released by  Portugal’s Automobile Association (ACAP), sales of the two brands were up 50 per cent.

Porsche sold 192 cars, 66 more than in 2009, representing an increase of 52.4 per cent. Jaguar, with the sale of 156 vehicles, increased their sales by 59 per cent.
