The recently formed Lodge of Peace & Harmony, which meets at Hotel Colina dos Mouros in Silves, has been honoured by the Grand Lodge of Portugal (GLLP).
Their Master of Ceremonies, W.B. Sandford, has been promoted to a Grand Officer and appointed as Active Assistant Grand Superintendent.
The Worshipful Master of the Lodge, W.B. Harkness, said: “By bestowing this honour the GLLP has shown their recognition that this first English-speaking lodge in the Algarve has both the quality of membership and depth of experience to look forward to a long and successful future.”
