THE UNIVERSE is full of masters. Some are and some are not. The business world does not allow half measures. The difficult path to success is strewn with good ideas but failures nonetheless. We need to understand the changing world of work and the complexities therein to find a place where we become the master.
Dr Rene Pellissier is the founder of Ymholiad Pty Ltd – International Research Institute in Leadership and Innovation. The company undertakes specialised research in the areas of innovation, information delivery, process and performance management, IT evaluation and implementation, and leadership.
She is the recipient of numerous research awards and currently works at the University of South Africa as a researcher and teaching Innovation and Technology.
She has lectured at most South African universities and has written or contributed to several books. She has participated in the annual international master classes in Leadership and Complexity held in the UK, Portugal and South Africa.
Network lunch
Network, the association of working and business women, has invited Dr Rene Pellissier to speak at their next lunch to be held at Cottons Restaurant, Alto Club, in Alvor, on Wednesday, June 27. Meet at 12.30pm for 1pm. Cost for members is 15 euros and for guests is 20 euros. Book no later than noon on Monday, June 25.
