A FIREWORKS display brought the inauguration of the Municipal Market of Loulé on February 1 to a dramatic close.
Inaugurated by câmara president Seruca Emídio, the building has 26 shops and 30 stands for fresh fish, fruit and vegetables. Following the ribbon cutting and presentation of a photography exhibition, the evening’s entertainment turned musical with offerings from local singer Nuno Guerreiro and percussion band, Wok.
The building was due to open for business on February 6.
