CONTINUING THE success of previous years, Silves will once again be hosting the popular Medieval Fair between August 9 and 15 in the historical town centre.
During this week, parts of the town will travel back in time to the 12th, 13th and 14th centuries, as travellers from around the continent will arrive to perform medieval arts and sell medieval and traditional wares. Silves Câmara, organiser of the event, encourages everyone to dress up in medieval costumes, provided by them for free, and to join in the festivities.
