LUXURY SPA resort, Villa Termal das Caldas de Monchique, has been recognised as the top Spa in Portugal in terms of wellbeing.
The Associação das Termas de Portugal (ATP), the association of springs in Portugal, ranked the Monchique resort top of the category ‘Bem Estar’ (Wellbeing) for 2006.
Located in the heart of the Monchique hills, around 7,000 people used the springs throughout 2006, 32.2 per cent more than in 2005.
