Portimão Museum is highlighting the celebration of its fifth anniversary with three exhibitions – a photographic exhibition depicting various aspects of the municipality, a display of sacred art and the exhibition of a rare and highly valuable Roman gold coin found in the River Arade.
The photography exhibition follows a competition, called ‘Corrida Fotográfica’, organised by the municipal authority and is regarded as one of the most important events of its kind south of Lisbon. It can be viewed between 10am and 8pm.
