A strange story coming out of Brazil this week about a Portuguese man in hospital “with no memory of who he is” has come up with the unfortunate truth that he is Pedro Miguel Alcântara Duarte, wanted by authorities in Portugal for various swindles. The good news (for him) is that there is no extradition agreement between Brazil and Portugal. The bad news however is that Mr Duarte is also wanted for fraud in Brazil…
