Networking lunch lunch

Members of the Portuguese Chamber, the Portuguese UK business network, came together to discuss the future of the Algarve during a networking lunch held at the Balaia Golf Village in Albufeira on May 4.

Constantino Jordan), who has his own property and tourism investment advisory company based in Almancil, was a guest speaker at the event where he looked at the need to reinvent the Algarve, focusing on the need of the region to be more innovative and seize upon new technologies.

“The Algarve has to attract a bigger residential population, which is professionally active in high added value activities, meaning technology, research, innovation and creativity,” he said.

“The region needs to create business, lifestyle and family infrastructures, such as office parks for small and medium sized companies, urban parks for recreational activities as well as investing further in international schools and establish protocols with universities and companies in these areas.”
