The five-star Hotel Martinhal in Sagres was inaugurated on Friday, April 23.
The event was attended by Bernardo Trindade, Secretary of State for Tourism, Luis Patrão, Chairman of Tourism of Portugal, Nuno Aires, President of the Algarve Tourism Board, and Adelino Soares, Mayor of Vila do Bispo, among other personalities.
The boutique hotel offers 38 luxurious rooms, including two duplex suites, all with fantastic sea views and a wide range of high quality infrastructure.

The hotel is set within the Martinhal Beach Resort & Hotel complex, which represents a total investment of 82 million euros.
Chitra Stern, joint owner, said: “This is the event which marks the first phase of opening the project in an area that has the potential to attract tourists for its natural beauty, beaches, Cape St. Vincent and gastronomy. The major objective was to develop a unique product at the sort of high quality that the region deserves. This is not just an investment but a high quality, luxury product.”
Hotel Martinhal is located at Martinhal beach and is set in the Natural Park of Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina.
