A new care card launched last month at the BLiP fair by Hospital Particular do Algarve is having a very positive response from patients.
The hospital, which has not released information about the number of cards sold, says that after an initial registration fee of 50 euros, holders of the Care Card “can immediately use its advantages”.
These benefits include all hospital services, treatments and tests, as well as preferential terms of payment.
The card is valid for a period of three years without any monthly expenses The card is valid in all the Hospital Particular do Algarve branches in the region.
Family members of the card holder also benefit from a special discount on the cost of their own Care Card.
