If you’re planning to learn Portuguese in the New Year, then the language school in Lagos (Centro de Línguas de Lagos) has two popular courses starting in January.
A beginner’s course starts on January 20 and this will give students a solid grounding in Portuguese. The teacher is Portuguese but will explain anything in English when necessary.
A conversation course starts on January 28 and is ideal for students with a good basic knowledge of Portuguese who would like to improve their fluency.
Both courses are for 30 lessons. They are for small groups of four to eight students, so the teachers can easily focus on the requirements of each student.
For those who prefer one-to-one lessons, there is a special offer of 10% discount on sets of private lessons. This discount is valid until December 31.
The school is accredited by the Portuguese Ministry of Education, which means that all the courses and teachers’ qualifications have been checked and approved. It’s in the historical centre of Lagos, with easy parking nearby.
