THE LOCAL GNR is to fine Silves Câmara for not making its complaints book available.
According to a GNR source, the police had been called to the Câmara by a person who had protested when the complaints book had not been forthcoming when he had asked for it.
It is believed the person was an architect wanting to check on a process in the Câmara but had been unable to, for which he wanted to make his complaint.
The book had been requested in several departments in the municipal building by the GNR but had not been made available, leading to the fine by the local police force.
