CONSTRUCTON OF the new dam in Odelouca is progressing at a steady pace, with developers expecting it to be completed on time.
A spokesman for Águas do Algarve, responsible for the project, told The Resident: “The construction work at the Odelouca dam is expected to be completed at the end of 2010.”The dam will become the primary water storage and transportation system for several counties, including Albufeira, Lagoa, Silves, Portimão and Monchique.
