Olaias metro station in Lisbon is among the 10 most beautiful metro stations in the world, according CNN’s Impact Your World selection.
There are no winners on this list as all 10 stations have been selected for their unique architectural features or history. Olaias station was designed by architect Tomás Taveira and a group of artists, who created contemporary, colourful works of art to decorate the space. Other stations on the list are the Komsomolskaya in Moscow (Russia), T-Centralen in Stockholm (Sweden) and Fosteritos in Bilbao (Spain).
