The MP (Mendes Bota) was right, but I have the impression not much has been done. And now it is the turn for Tavira.
I am a resident from Amsterdam. There we have the same plague with the IEP tree (Elm, I guess).
Those are the trees along the 17th century canal belt. The plague shows up every year.
But it is a containable solution if you eradicate every sick tree to stop it spreading.
