The Silves Sociedade Filarmónica (philharmonic band) will be giving a concert at 9.30pm on November 30 in the town’s Teatro Mascarenhas Gregório. Also appearing will be Jackie O’Grady, playing 80s sounds. Tickets are €4 for non-members, €2 for members, and can be purchased from the Loja Regional A. Silva (Loja da Cortiça). All proceeds from the evening will be going towards buying new instruments.
