Portugal has been registering a boom in the number of asylum requests it receives, according to TSF radio station.
Teresa Tito de Morais, president of the Portuguese Centre for Refugees, said that the country received a never-before-seen 136 asylum requests in the first two months of 2015 alone.
Most of them came from Ukrainian citizens, followed by Moroccan and Pakistani.
