Celebrities, DJs and guests attended the grand opening of Purobeach Vilamoura on July 3, the first of the chain of lifestyle bars to open outside Spain.
Purobeach aims to be a relaxing area of tranquillity during the day with a Tai Chi and massage area, restaurant and lounge bar, while by night DJs, themed parties and live performances will create a party atmosphere.
The concept of Purobeach was created by Swedish entrepreneur Mats Wahlström in Palma de Mallorca in 2005 following the success of Puro which had opened the previous year in the town centre.
There is now a Purobeach in Marbella and a further Purobeach is to open in Casablanca in 2011.
