An initiative to sell corporate hospitality boxes has been launched at the Algarve Motor Park, targeting the local business market.
A number of leading business owners and managers were invited to sample and enjoy the full-on effects of a corporate day out at the track last month.
Darren Malkin, a specialist race track driving instructor from Parkalgar, who hosted these events said: “We wanted to show people the possibilities that are available here and the best way to do that was to invite them to experience it first-hand.
“We approached the day exactly as any new hospitality box owner would, and organised for Teresa Azevedo Coutinho, a leading Lisbon-based interior designer, to do a makeover on the VIP Tower box.”
Catering was arranged by Almancil restaurant Bistro des Z’Artes, who provided a champagne and canapé reception and then a sit-down three course lunch.
The race track plans to repeat these lunches again in spring 2010.
