THE LARGEST skate park in the country was inaugurated in the Parque da Alfarrobeira, Albufeira, on Saturday, December 8.
Street and ramp style infrastructures for skateboarding, BMX free styling and inline skating have been constructed with different levels of difficulty. There is also an initiation area with quarter pipes and flat banks and a learning area.
Albufeira Câmara is expecting this new equipment to attract many local residents as well as tourists who practise radical sports to the park, whose walls have been decorated by an award winning team of graffiti artists.
