Sir Bobby Robson (pictured second from right) visited Refúgio Aboim Ascenção, the children’s home in Faro, last week to personally deliver a cheque for 60,000 euros, which was raised at the Mackenzie Sir Bobby Robson Golf Classic and Gala Dinner, held at the Vila Sol Spa and Golf Resort (see report in The Resident’s edition of June 8).
