Longevity Wellness Resort in Monchique has received a certificate for practices in food hygiene and safety.
The resort has been awarded with the ForeSee Silver Certificate of Good Hygiene Standards by LusoCristal, a company specialising in control systems for food safety management.
The certificate represents the acknowledgement of the high standards of food control at the resort in accordance with regulations regarding cross contamination and cleaning practices.
Executive Chef Jan Stechemesser and manager Anil Sampat received the award during a ceremony which was attended by Monchique Câmara president, Rui André.
