Works have begun to redevelop the riverside area of Guerreiros do Rio in the municipality of Alcoutim at a cost of more than €100,000.
The works will include the creation of a kiosk shop, toilets and a picnic area while also combining riverside coastal defences to protect the areas of Álamo and Laranjeiras.
The project is expected to be completed within the next three months.
