A 19-YEAR-old man was violently beaten by three men as he left a bar in Praia da Rocha with a girl in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The men, two Portuguese and a Ukrainian, all aged between 20 and 30, followed the man in the street before beating him and stealing his wallet, a gold chain and a small bag.
Police officers patrolling the area arrested the assailants just minutes after they had committed the crime, and charged them with robbery.
