DR DAVE Alred MBE, a leading rugby coach, is due to return to Barringtons Golf and Health Spa in Vale do Lobo with Kicking Coaching Clinics on August 14, 15 and 16.
Some of the greatest names in sport have been coached by Dave Alred, including England rugby’s Jonny Wilkinson, Matt Dawson and Rob Andrew. He has also coached football stars like Joe Cole and David James.
The first clinic on August 14 will be aimed at younger children, aged between eight and 14, who can attend with their parents. This will teach not only the basics of kicking but also getting into good habits early. It will also give parents involved with school or mini-rugby an opportunity to get more ideas.
The clinic on August 15 will target more advanced players who might be kicking for their school or university team and want to improve their kicking skills. The third and final clinic on August 16 will depend on the age and experience of those booking but will be confirmed four days before.
Each two-hour clinic is priced at 50 euros per person and will start at 6pm. Reservations must be made and paid for in advance at Barringtons. For more information, please call 289 351 940.
