International security company Securitas has announced an annual turnover in the Algarve of 8.6 million euros for 2009, with predictions for 2010 to see a growth of four per cent supported by the company gaining new customers in the region.
The firm has 450 employees in the Algarve providing
assistance to 270 clients, especially within the hotel and tourism sector.
Lower costs
Algarve director of Securitas, Jaime Lopes said: “Securitas business within the Algarve has been growing steadily and we hope to see this continue through 2010 as we increase our customer base by offering more value for money to clients with lower costs but equal security levels.”
