DON’T MISS the Silves Medieval fair, which started yesterday (Thursday) and runs until August 15 in the historical town centre and Al-Mutamid Park.
This year’s fair promises to be bigger and better than previous years, including much Christian and Arabic medieval-inspired street entertainment and music. Battles will be recreated in the streets and costumes will be available to rent, free of charge, for visitors to join in the festivities.
There will also be many stalls selling handicraft, food, drinks, toys, souvenirs and much more.
