Six people were arrested early this (Tuesday) morning when PSP police in Lisbon raided 15 homes in an operation focused on the combat of the trafficking of illegal firearms in the capital.
According to early reports, drugs as well as guns were apprehended.
Over 100 police agents were involved. The searches took in “various neighbourhoods” including Boavista.
Superintendent Resende da Silva told reporters that the results of the morning’s work had been “positive”.
