A CHEQUE for the sum of 525 euros was presented to the president of São Brás Bombeiros by the members of the Tavira Lawn Bowling Club.
The club raised the money at their annual St George’s Day celebration in April, a day which was sponsored by Roger and Diana Turner and supported by all the members. The proceeds will go towards the purchase of a defibrillator for the Bombeiros’ ambulance.
