LAGOA CÂMARA is organising the fifth traditional sweets fair between July 26 and 29 in the Claustro do Convento S.José, cloisters of the convent, in Rua Joaquim Eugénio Júdice.
At the fair, there will be cakes, jams and honey, many of which are traditional recipes developed in Portuguese monasteries in the 16th century. There will also be classic regional drinks including port wine, aguardente and various liquors. Entry is free as are the shows which run from 6pm to 1am.
