AN EARTHQUAKE measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale occurred on Sunday evening at 8.03pm.
The epicentre was situated 280kms west of Cape St. Vincent. The quake, which did not cause any damage or injuries, was felt as far as Lisbon and Setúbal. The last earthquake to shake the Algarve with 5.8 on the Richter scale was on February 12.
