The Parkalgar Honda motorcycle team’s World Supersport Championship season is going from strength to strength.
The weekend’s fifth round in Monza saw No1 rider Eugene Laverty sandwiched by main title rivals Ken Sofuoglu and Joan Lascorz on the front row of the starting grid, before showing the pair a clean pair of heels to record his third victory of the year.
Only 20 points now cover the three men going into this Sunday’s South African stage in what is promising to become one of the most closely contested championships in recent memory.
