It is fast becoming a regular fixture. Lagos’ “Trocatudo” swap fair is taking place once again on Saturday December 7 at the old Gil Eanes school in the centre of town, between 2.30pm and 5.30pm.
Everyone is welcome, and participation is open to all-comers. The idea of the fair is to help the local economy, people in need and to promote networking and new initiatives.
As organisers say: “You can find things you need without spending any money at all, giving in exchange something you no longer require.”
At the first fair two summers ago, people were swapping services, too. The only thing that is not involved is money.
