A free eye examination session for children between the ages of three and four is due to take place in Quarteira on May 31, organised by local opticians Kupervisão and the Casa Paroquial de Quarteira. The session plans to diagnose visual impairments while improving the child’s attention and learning process through fun activities, such as games or painting. Impaired vision is said to be one of the main causes of difficulties for children in their reading and writing learning process, and approximately one in four children are not diagnosed or are wrongly diagnosed.
