Portugal is one of the countries that is most affected by climate changes, according to Environment Minister Jorge Moreira da Silva. The minister revealed that the country must therefore “adapt itself to the changes” in sectors such as territorial planning or water management. He does not believe the economic crisis should serve as “an excuse to postpone” these changes and that it would prove to be more “economical” to act now rather than later.
