KARL VERMISST, the 69-year old German tourist who disappeared from Alcoutim in the eastern Algarve six weeks ago, is still missing.
Mateus Fisher, a spokesman from the German Embassy told The Resident this week: “Intense searches have been carried out by Portuguese and Spanish police, using helicopters with infrared equipment and search teams with dogs. He has not been found yet and there are no results but the police are still working intensely on the case.”
