A short 30-second TV advertising campaign plugging the Algarve as an off-season holiday destination is being aired until November 28 on Portuguese television channel TVi.
Desidério Silva, president of the Algarve Tourism Board, said: “The goal of the campaign is to strengthen the appeal of the Algarve brand in the national market by reminding them of a region that is familiar to them and still hosting a vast array of entertainment and touristic offerings during the autumn and winter.”
‘Algarve. O segredo mais famoso da Europa’ (Algarve. Europe’s most famous secret) will be shown at least 60 times, mostly during prime time – between 8pm and 11pm – on the free-to-air TV channel with the highest ratings in Portugal.
