A MOTORIST in Ourique in the Alentejo suffered a nasty fright last Friday morning when her Fiat car went out of control.
Having mounted a barrier beside the main road, it then flipped and ended up neatly upside down on the pavement between two trees on the lower street. The civil protection officers and bombeiros cleaned up the spillage from the engine after the wrecked vehicle was righted and taken away. The driver, a Portuguese woman, suffered shock but no serious injury.
