Viva Arte Viva!

Visitors to the annual Arte Viva festival at the museum in São Brás were able to enjoy the art on display at the event and were also treated to some special performances by both paid bands and the unpaid talents of the museum’s affiliated groups.

Exhibitor and The Resident Group contributor Jane Page said: “All three groups who performed reflected the efforts the museum put into creating a truly international membership.”

She added: “Walter Sulzer’s choir has become known as one of the finest in the Algarve, presenting music in various languages, the museum’s theatre group Aperitivo received rapturous applause for their innovative presentation of the songs taken from their multilingual plays, while Sylvy Wilkes’ multinational group of barbershop singers got the audience to join in with their final song.”
