My wife and I recently had the pleasure of attending the International Day of Dance at the Centro Cultural de Lagos.
Thisshow featured kids of all ages from around five upwards. The enthusiasm and dedication shown by these kids was a joy to behold. They danced several different styles from around the world, including Russian, Irish, African, can-can, Oriental and ballet.
Also a big thank you for all the work carried out by the parents and helpers behind the scenes, for the costumes, choreography and the overall production. At a cost of €10, this was a great show.
They are having another performance at the same venue in May. Check it out and enjoy a wonderful show.

Editor’s note: The show in May by the Escola de Dança de Lagos will be their end-of-year annual performance to be held on May 16, 17 and 18 at the cultural centre.
