4paws is an exciting new addition to the Algarve’s dog accommodation market.
Located just outside Lagoa, the ‘doggie guesthouse’ – as it is coined by owner Luís Silva – presents a very personal, loving alternative for people hoping to give their four-legged friend a happy home while they’re away.
The property is ideal for this purpose. It is located in the middle of an orchard, is well-fenced and surrounded by a hectare of orange trees that gives dogs all the space they need to play and run.
All the kennels at 4paws are individual yet spacious, with lockable doors. Each one has an inside and outside area so that the dog can decide where he wants to be.
High or low temperatures are not a problem either, as all the kennels have insulated roofs which keep animals cool in the summer and snug from the cold in the winter.
“I’m a dog lover,” Luis told the Algarve Resident when explaining why he decided to open the business. Already having four dogs of his own, he also said that he saw a “huge market” in the sector, which is why he has decided to make a living out of taking care of the animals he loves.
4paws is now open for business and Luis is looking forward to beginning his role as ‘canine innkeeper’.
