It’s a new marketing agency and it promises to “revolutionise” the way hotels, resorts and other companies working in the tourism industry promote themselves online.
HM Suite was launched at the beginning of the year and is the brainchild of César Coelho, who has worked in the hospitality industry for nine years at hotels and resorts such as Hilton Vilamoura, Birmingham Metropole, Conrad Algarve, Waldorf Astoria, Cascade, Pine Cliffs and Sheraton Algarve.
With all this experience under his belt, he believes the company can be a “one-stop-shop” for companies looking to promote their products and services.
“I think that our model integrates a number of services that would normally be provided by two or three businesses,” he says.
“Thus, it gives us a competitive edge that our clients will appreciate from a cost point of view, while also simplifying the whole process of communicating through a single touch point,” Coelho adds.
As he explains, HM Suite provides marketing expertise not just for leading hotel chains but also other companies working in tourism such as “sport, food and other local businesses”.
The focus of the business is “on providing hotels and local businesses with an integrated approach to marketing, where I can not only plan and deliver the same digital marketing campaigns, but also guide and execute my clients’ strategy on channels ranging from web content to social media content and advertising.
“At the same time, I can provide support in PR not only in traditional media but also the new trend of social media influencers and bloggers, email marketing through newsletters, as well as pre- and post-sale communication.”
According to Coelho, the most requested services are digital campaigns, especially the “pay-per-click on Google advertising and social media advertising”.
He believes these “are channels that every business should be exploring”.
“As we know, search engines, Google more precisely, have changed our daily lives. The same can be said about social media advertising that can be much cheaper than Google and ensures Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or LinkedIn users see our products and services.
“Without a doubt, Google and Facebook are two powerful influences on everyone’s daily routine these days and, therefore, it is vital that our businesses are being displayed there,” the marketing specialist added.
It is this kind of expertise that the company promises and which is “worthy of investing in” given the attention that the Algarve and Portugal are receiving in the world of travel and tourism, having received multiple awards recently.
“You can see that many businesses have blossomed over the last few years and there is great optimism in the air. I believe this is the right time for businesses to establish themselves and for the destination to capitalise on its business sustainability,” Coelho said.
