Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD) is offering to pay all taxes and expenses related to a real estate transaction if a buyer purchases a property from the bank. This is the latest campaign by CGD to attract property buyers, who will see all taxes and additional expenses associated to the buying process paid for by the bank. Expenses include property transfer tax (IMT), stamp duty, bank study and evaluation commissions and contract, among others, if financing is through the CGD. The offer is valid until March 31.
