Body of newborn discovered in rubbish in Póvoa de Lanhoso

The body of a dead newborn baby was found by waste disposal workers early this morniing in the municipality of Póvoa de Lanhoso (Braga district). PJ police are now investigating. A souce has told reporters that an autopsy is to go ahead in order to help determine “whether the baby was alive or dead when it was left in the rubbish.”
